Does the banana diet really exist? Indeed, it is very popular in Japan. It has achieved significant success, especially among overweight individuals.

All this despite the fact that bananas are inherently high in calories, a true energy bomb. However, among the numerous fruit diets (orange diet, pear diet, apple diet, and the list could go on), there are surely people for whom this will be the winner. Despite the fact that consuming pears and bananas on an empty stomach is not recommended. The reason for this with pears is that the raw fiber they contain can irritate the delicate mucous membrane in an empty stomach. Consuming bananas on an empty stomach can cause a rapid increase in magnesium in the blood, which can be harmful to the heart.

One of the great advantages of this diet is that it can be tried with relatively little effort, as not much needs to be changed compared to usual eating habits.

After waking up, one should drink a glass of lukewarm water.

Then, approximately one hour later, you can eat a banana. If there is still a feeling of hunger after consuming the fruit, another banana can be eaten.

During the diet, it is advisable to avoid consuming milk and alcohol, and it is also important not to eat anything after 8 p.m.

Lunch and dinner can follow the usual eating habits and do not require any changes. If hunger occurs between main meals, it is recommended to alleviate it with a few pieces of fruit, including consuming bananas.

We might think that due to its high calorie content, there aren’t many benefits to be gained from it, but thanks to its various minerals and vitamins, it has a beneficial effect on the body.
