Fruits can be pureed raw, while vegetables are best introduced in steamed or cooked form, thoroughly blended or mashed. Steaming helps preserve the vitamins found in vegetables to a greater extent. Due to its sweet taste and texture, most babies really enjoy bananas. You can offer them delicious purees by combining bananas with other vegetables and fruits.
