Banana Tiramisu

Banana Tiramisu Recipe


For a 20 x 30 cm dish

  • 30 dkg ladyfingers
  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • cocoa powder

For soaking:

  • 5 dkg dark chocolate
  • 240 ml milk

For the tiramisu cream:

  • 225 g mascarpone
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The steps to prepare the cake are as follows:

  1. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate with milk over low heat, then let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a bowl, mix the room temperature mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whip the heavy cream and gradually fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Slice the bananas into rounds.
  5. Dip the ladyfingers into the chocolate sauce and arrange them on the bottom of the dish.
  6. Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth it out.
  7. Place banana slices on top of the tiramisu cream.
  8. Dip another batch of ladyfingers into the chocolate sauce.
  9. Spread the remaining tiramisu cream over the ladyfingers and smooth it out.
  10. Cover the banana tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours.
  11. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and you can also garnish with banana slices.
