Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe
- 85 g peanut butter
- 150 g sugar
- 3 ripe bananas
- 120 ml vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 65 g cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 110 g whole wheat flour
Instructions for Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Bread:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, combine eggs, peanut butter, and sugar, and mix until smooth.
3. Mash the bananas with a fork and add them to the egg mixture.
4. Add the vegetable oil to the mixture and mix until well combined.
5. In another bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
6. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir until smooth, but do not overmix!
7. Pour the banana bread batter into a 30 x 10 cm (12 x 4 inch) loaf pan.
8. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Perform a toothpick test after 50 minutes to check for doneness.
9. Once the banana bread is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool to warm before slicing.
You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top when serving. It’s an excellent choice for any occasion. Enjoy your meal!
